Here are a few poems by and for our children. They're so precious - I thought we'd share:
A Poem for one of my sons by a classmate that we'll keep anonymous Joshua
You're a big bundle of laughs, with the cheesiest smile
and the spikiest hair for miles and miles
You're silly and funny, full of jokes and games
and the one to make me laugh on a dumb, boring day.
And when the day comes that I see your serious face
I shall swim to the queen and sing her 'amazing grace'
Though to be fair, I have seen it before
and it's only when you start to draw;
You're eyes pierce the paper, your brow knitted tight,
Oh seeing you concentrate, is such a delight!
And even though I may tease you, I think you're the bomb
But if you think you can ditch to havelock, you're wrong!
For once you're a steiner, you heart can never change,
you're a tree hugger for life, I know its a shame!
