The Homedics BPA-110 is probably the BEST home blood pressure monitor in New Zealand, according to the NZ Consumer Magazine. We have used it in our clinic for some time now and find it very easy to use and accurate indeed. It even has the ability to detect irregular heartbeats, unlike many of the other models on the market. I like the fact also that it comes with two cuffs, so even the biggest arms can easily be fitted with a cuff. It is a smart thing to regularly monitor your own blood pressure at home, especially if you are over 50 like me, and if concerned get your doctor to check it out further.
